Artist, Art Educator & Designer, Vanessa Goldeen offers a variety of art oriented sessions designed to initiate creativity even for the most “uncreative” souls. Group or Individual classes or workshops are available for all ages. Ongoing classes are customized to fit your schedule. Classes and workshops can be private, semi private (shared with 2-3 participants) or by groups up to 8 participants. Drawing is Fun 101:

This class designed for all ages and skill levels. You’ll be delighted at the artistic abilities you actually have! This directed drawing class provides guidance and structure that will open the mysteries of drawing to you. Whether you  already have some skill or none at all this class is fun and educational! Media includes markers, graphite & colored pencil.

ALL MATERIALS INCLUDED

Individual classes - $50.00 per person per 2 hour class

(Individual rates lower with more participants, ie. with 4 family members, the per person rate reduces to $35.00 Call or email for quotes on group classes) Regular weekly classes are available upon request.

Painting 101- 1/2 Day & Full Day:

For all of you who ever said “ I would love to try painting”. This class can be private or shared. Initial instruction time starts with a 2 hour session, a break period during which you can proceed to work, followed with the remaining 2 hours of instruction staggered to allow you time to work with the medium on your own. We’ll start with a basic planning session, reviewing a variety of subject matter, discussion of painting styles and techniques, materials handling, basic sketching and blocking in. Media can be oils, acrylics.

MATERIALS ARE NOT INCLUDED.

1/2 day, 4 hours         $ 280.00         1-2 students

Crit & Skill Enhancement:

For those of you who are budding artists or actively working amateurs who want the guiding eye of a pro. These sessions can be tailored to your needs in a mentoring format. You may bring your own projects or start something new in class. We can work with your favorite media or you may try new media you would like to get familiar with!

Creativity Awareness:

Through a variety of media you will experience the opportunity to “shut off” your inner critic and enjoy release and freedom of creative expression. The therapeutic benefits of artistic experience are well documented. Ms Goldeen offers an opportunity to look inward with the support and encouragement to accept oneself and self expression.

This all day workshop begins @ 8:30 AM and wraps @ 3:30 PM participants may continue to work independently until 4:30 PM.
